Ace Internet Services was originally established to complement our existing company Ace Software Pty Limited which has a long proud history in the Southern Highlands of New South Wales since 1987. Ace Software was started for the purpose of developing database applications for local commerce and industry. Ace quickly grew to also be a supplier of computer hardware, off-the-shelf software and then to designing and installing multi-user computer systems.
1995 was the year in which the Internet, in Australia, really took off. It was time to take another step. It was then that Ace Internet Services was established. Our previous experience has stood us in good stead and since becoming an ISP we have had tremendous success with a loyal and satisfied customer base.
At the end of 2001 Ace went National with Internet access in over 45 POP locations across Australia. Not long after, we established an '0198' dial-in number allowing local-call access Australia-wide using the one number.
