Telstra dismantles competitors equipment... by mistake!

Talk about faulty towers, Telstra in one gigantic stuff up dismantled a Soul Communications radio link on the top of Bowral Exchange by mistake!

Even when the contractors questioned the fact that the lights were still flashing and it looked like it was in use, they were told to take it down!

The effect was immediate causing thousands of people in the highlands and beyond to lose phone and Internet services. State Govt. departments, schools, hospitals, regional ISPs and a large number of Companies were severely impacted.

Even more outrageous is that Telstra installed their own new Next-G service antennas whilst the SOUL equipment remained upon the ground nearby, after admitting that the removal of the SOUL equipment was in error.
