Multiple exchange outage
The Mittagong, Bowral, and Goulburn exchanges experienced two ADSL outages on the 28th and 29th of April. Telstra confirmed the issue and restored the service at around 2 PM both days.

East Bowral customers are now able to receive NBN-speed connections from AirStream thanks to a set of new base stations.
Budding astronauts in awe
Students at Chevalier College and the Southern Highlands Christian School were treated to a special learning experience with the Iglew, an inflatable high-definition 3D theatre.
Enabled by the HHERN (Highlands Health Education Research Network), the experience is enhanced by a high speed Internet connection that is able to download high resolution 3D imagery from NASA, leading to an extremely immersive and interactive environment.
